Payment and Refund Policy

This Payment & Refund Policy governs all transactions made through the Property and Business.lk platform. By using our services or submitting payment through our website, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Property and Business.lk offers both free and paid property advertising services. To ensure transparency and user confidence, we provide the following breakdown of how payments are handled and under what conditions refunds may or may not be granted.

Payment Terms

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex)
  • Bank Transfers
  • Mobile Payment Gateways
  • Direct Deposit (on request)

All transactions are processed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise stated.

Billing Confirmation

Once payment is successfully processed, users will receive:

  • A confirmation email
  • A digital invoice/receipt
  • A summary of the selected ad package or promotional service

Pricing Policy

Property and Business.lk offers various pricing tiers for individual listings, premium placement, banner ads, and bulk advertising packages.

  • All prices are clearly stated at the time of purchase and are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Any promotional discounts or coupon codes must be applied at the time of checkout and cannot be retroactively applied.
  • Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes or bank charges unless specifically mentioned.

We reserve the right to update our pricing structure periodically to reflect service upgrades, market demands, or changes in operational costs.

Service Activation

  • Standard Listings are typically activated instantly or within a few minutes after payment confirmation.
  • Premium Listings or Featured Ads may take up to 12–24 hours for full placement, depending on review or approval queues.
  • You will be notified once your ad is published and live on the site.

We are not liable for delays caused by user error (e.g., incomplete information, incorrect images, or payment failure).

Refund Policy

We strive to deliver high-quality advertising services and ensure that your listings receive the visibility you pay for. However, due to the nature of digital advertising, refunds are generally not provided once a listing or paid service has been activated.

Refunds Will NOT Be Issued for the Following
  • User error during ad submission or incorrect information uploaded.
  • Failure to receive expected responses or inquiries from third parties.
  • Expired listings that were not renewed in time.
Refunds MAY Be Considered Only in the Following Situations
  • Duplicate payment was made for the same listing.
  • Payment was processed but the service was not delivered or activated.
  • Technical issues on our platform prevented your ad from being published within a reasonable time.
  • In case of fraudulent or unauthorized charges (subject to investigation).

To request a refund under eligible conditions, please email Property and Business.lk within 5 business days of the transaction. All refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and processed within 7–10 working days if approved.
